CLOSED FOR THE SEASON!

McCloud Mountain Restaurant & Lodge is now closed for the season. Due to the elevation, we can receive ice & snow when the valley is clear below. We will reopen in March when the weather improves, so please remember us in the spring!

With soaring cliffs and majestic arches, Mt. Cloud Mountain is an awe-inspiring place to visit.  It may be one of the South’s best-kept secret. Mt. Cloud and McCloud Mountain Restaurant & Lodge is located on a 1300 acre tract of land at an elevation of 2700 feet, atop the Cumberland Mountains, and just a few miles to the northeast of La Follette, Tennessee. From the top you can get a breathtaking view of the valley below, Norris Lake, House Mountain, Clinch Mountain, the Great Smoky Mountains and Knoxville, Tennessee.

Over fifty years ago, Jim McCloud purchased the land and began sightseeing tours of the mountain's many natural wonders and magnificent views. His dream of one day sharing the property has become the reality of Real Estate Developers Paul & Madeline Fields with the opening of a mountain top lodge, property sales, and what is easily one of the most unique restaurants that you will find anywhere.
